The digital world is a growing world that is full of innovations, ideas, concepts, and businesses. We’ve had technology and digital devices a long time ago, but they have increased in use and changed in structure a lot.

I have first encountered the digital world when i was 9 years old. I used to play with the Nintendo because I saw everyone use it and it was the trend. All kids had the Nintendo and as soon as any game launched I would rush to buy it in order to be the first to give my feedback.

I also had a desktop computer where I used to chat with my friends on the Messenger. It was a Dell computer. There were constant fights with my sisters for this computer and we used to set certain hours for each of us to use the computer and chat on it. One more thing I used to do on the computer is play the Bubble trouble game. I was in love with it.

My first phone was a girly pink Sony Ericson that my sister had and that I wanted so badly. So when I grew a little I took it from her and it became mine. It was probably one of the best phones I carried and having it as my first phone gave me satisfaction!

Another device that I enjoyed carrying around everywhere was my IPod. Back then, i Pods were the only way to listen to music everywhere you go and have the music downloaded easily. However, compared to today, iPods are considered a tough way to listen to music and no one would ever use them as it is extremely easy to have music downloaded on phones, laptops, and probably any electronic device that we carry.
I use WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook (but not as often as the rest). I personally think that Instagram is the most time consuming out of those, and to prevent wasting so much time on it, I deactivate it every once in a while because I think that it could be harmful for one’s self more than it could be beneficial. However, usage of these apps for a long time means that we are viewing more advertisements and looking at new ideas and concepts which could end up in other companies or people making profits, as well as us coming up with new innovations.

One digital application that I frequently use is Zomato, and that comes from my love for food and for outings. I find Zomato the perfect application to know all the details about the place I’m planning to go to, and also to find a place if I don’t have anything in mind.
I see data as information, facts, details, ideas, or anything you encounter that you can use. We encounter data every day in our daily life, whether in books, laptops, phones, etc. however, it is not always credible or reliable data. We make data and it is very easy these days to make data published and to decide on who to view the data and who to target when publishing it.
